Frequently asked questions

Everything clients usually ask before booking. If your question isn't here, WhatsApp us — we reply fast.

Which parks and destinations do you cover?

Safari country: Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Salt Lick & the Taita Hills, Amboseli, the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu, the Aberdares & Ol Pejeta and Nairobi. On the coast: Mombasa, Diani, Watamu, Kilifi, Malindi, Lamu, Wasini & Kisite and Shimba Hills. We also arrange Tanzania and Uganda extensions.

How do I book a trip or safari?

One tap. Every 'Chat to Book' button opens WhatsApp with a pre-typed message describing exactly what you're interested in. We reply — within 24 hours, often much sooner — confirm dates and price, and you're booked.

Do your safaris include accommodation and park fees?

Yes — our safaris are fully-inclusive packages: accommodation in vetted safari lodges or tented camps, all meals while on safari, park entry fees, game drives in a 4×4 with pop-up roof, and a professional driver-guide. Only drinks, tips and personal items are extra.

Where do you pick us up from?

Door to door. We collect you from your hotel, the airport, or the SGR terminus — in Mombasa, Diani, Watamu or Nairobi (JKIA). If you're flying in, we meet you at arrivals and the safari starts from there.

How do I pay? Is there a deposit?

We take a small deposit to hold your dates (M-Pesa, Visa or Mastercard), and the balance before or on arrival. For larger packages we can split payment into instalments — just ask on WhatsApp.

What kind of accommodation do you use on safari?

Everything from comfortable economy lodges to luxury lodges and tented camps — all personally vetted. Tell us your budget level and we'll match the lodge tier: economy/mid-range, standard, or high-end (think Kilaguni Serena, Ashnil Aruba, Salt Lick Lodge).

What's included in the beach packages?

Each package lists exactly what's included — usually accommodation, transfers, and the headline activities. Transport from Nairobi (SGR or flights) is listed separately so you can compare honestly.

Can you take us beyond Kenya?

Yes. We arrange Tanzania extensions — the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Zanzibar — as well as Uganda gorilla trekking. Kenya is where we start, and most itineraries stay, but we build multi-country circuits too.

How do I get to the coast?

The SGR train from Nairobi (about 5 hrs) or a 1 hr flight. For the North Coast and Malindi, flying to Malindi or Ukunda saves driving time. We advise on the best option and arrange every pickup.

Can you customise a package for my group?

Yes — everything is adjustable. Tell us your dates, budget, group size and must-dos on WhatsApp, and we'll build a custom itinerary, usually within 24 hours. Group sizes change the per-person price significantly, especially on safari.

When is the best time to visit?

December–March is hot, dry and best for snorkelling; July–October is cooler, quieter and prime for the Great Migration in the Mara. April–May sees long rains — we don't recommend it for beach trips.

Are you a licensed tour operator?

Yes — we're registered with the Tourism Regulatory Authority of Kenya (licence TRA/2/01/C01/211), based in Mombasa, with 15+ years of experience and over 2,500 travellers from 40+ countries. We work only with vetted hotels, lodges, boats and drivers we've personally used.
